Virgin Mobile offers no-contract iPhone plan for US customers – Boing Boing

I just went to Sprint.Com, ran the numbers of a 16GB iPhone 4S and for me to have similar service I’d get from Virgin Mobile would run our family. $230 a month. Right now our VM cost is $70.

Which means if upgraded to the 4S, I’d reach my break even point in about 4.25 months, about 130 days. I’d just be going in the hole with Sprint. About the same coverage, unlimited but speed regulated data, unlimited texting and 1200 minutes.

HMMMM…. now I need to go do the dishes, vacuum, clean the bathroom, take out the trash, clean the windows, call my mother-in-law and ask her to come stay with us for the rest of the summer.

Then I can start begging. 8)
